Wheat Bran for Ruminants, Horses and Poultry
Wheat bran is the outer layer of the wheat grain, separated during flour milling. It is high in fibre and phosphorus, has a mild laxative effect, and is widely used in dairy, beef, sheep and horse rations. Pellets are denser and cheaper to ship; flakes are preferred where it is mixed on farm.
