RBD Palm Kernel Oil for Food and Oleochemical Use
Palm kernel oil (PKO) is pressed from the kernel inside the oil palm fruit, not the fleshy outer part that gives palm oil. Like coconut oil it is rich in lauric acid, so it is solid at cool temperatures and melts cleanly. Refined, bleached and deodorised (RBD) PKO is used in confectionery and bakery fats, non-dairy creamers, ice cream coatings, soap and oleochemicals.
